3. DEVELOPMENT OF VIDEO COMPRESSION SCHEME

           Proposed video compression technique has been explained in the following sections.

3.1  Block Diagram of Proposed Compression System

           In this compression, wavelet transform and zerotree architecture are the key structure. Quantization, which takes quality parameters, is done prior to zerotree coding. Then arithmetic coding is done, as is shown in Figure1.

           Decompression is almost inverse of compression. Firstly, compressed bitstream is decoded. Then, zerotree entropy decoding is done for each frame. Inverse wavelet transform is the last process in decompression scheme.
