Recover Watermark

a. Prepare for Recover

Figure 1. prepare for recover.

1. Select watermarked video file.

2. You have to have a key image to recover embedded image. Load one.

3. Check this box if you want to calculate bit errors(BER). This helps to
    find the percentage of damage.

4. To calculate BER original image must be provided. Load the original image.

5. Wavelet level defines the sub-frequency divisions. It should be left in default state.

6. Embed level depends on the DWTLevels value. It can't be bigger than DWTLevels.
     Below there is the combination:

DWTLevels Embed Level
2 1
3 1
3 2

7. Beta coefficient is the strength of recover algorithm. With key image and video
frame beta coefficient affects image recovery.

8. Read the info panel to see how far we are to recover the watermark.

9. If all conditions are satisfied, recover button will be enabled. Otherwise it will
     stay disabled.

b. Recover Window

Figure 2. Recover window.

1. Recover process can be done for one frame or all frames. For one frame
a frame number must be given smaller than the biggest frame no in the video.
When all frames' box checked, "Calc. BER" button is activated. It can be used
only if the original image has been provided.

2. Recover the image. BER is calcalated automatically if the orginal image exists.

3. Calculates BER for all frames.

4. When "All frames" checked and "Calc. BER" button pressed, BER of each frame
will be displayed on this list.

5. Saves the recovered image.

6. Saves the BERs in a text file.
